Murata Machinery participated in the “Lenzing Innovation in Tokyo 2009” at Tokyo, JAPAN, from the 10th to the 11th of June. “Lenzing Innovation” is a textile show held by Lenzing Fibers, who are world-wide suppliers of cellulose fibers, together with Japanese textile material manufacturers.
This time, the show attracted many more visitors compared with the last year; a wide variety ranging from apparel and retail industries, to yarn distributors. The show was very well attended, right from the first day.
We introduced the principle of VORTEX spinning technology as well as the advantages of VORTEX yarns and fabrics from the technical perspective; we also proposed the manufacturing featuring material, that is, the design by yarn characteristics.
The technical seminar, on the second day, consisted of lectures of VORTEX spinning technology by our technical staff, followed by, Lenzing’s presentation of fabrics made from their cellulose fibers spun into yarn with VORTEX technology. Attendees gave positive feedback on the joint seminar which offered complete information beginning with the basics, up to the application of VORTEX with Lenzing's cellulose fibers.
