On January 23, 2009, Murata Machinery participated as lecturers in a seminar, introducing knit technology in Tokyo, hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Center.
The reputation of VORTEX is gradually increasing in the textile industry of Japan. Various participants, including leading Japanese apparel manufacturers, knitters, sewing companies, as well as many people in the retail industry, attended the seminar.
With the theme of "Innovative spinning VORTEX - introduction from the basic to the product development", we introduced the spinning principle of VORTEX, characteristics of VORTEX yarns, etc.
Yarn’s functionality, the advantage from environmental perspective became the focus of attention at the seminar. The participants raised a number of questions on "Who is the supplier of yarn?", "Where can we have a trial spinning?" and so on, and also gave some positive opinions. The seminar was quite lively.
